Current News: Heat Relief program kicks off!
Each year, a number of lives are lost due to heat-related illness. The heat can affect anyone, but persons who are homeless, elderly or young are at an increased risk. In an effort to provide resources to those in need, Gilbert has partnered with the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) and other organizations to support the Heat Relief Network.
To sustain these efforts, Gilbert is calling for businesses, residents, and volunteer groups to help out with bottled water and other new non-perishable, heat-related donations. Donations will be accepted through Labor Day.
Help us reach our goal of 7,000 water bottles, 500 more than last year!
